Technical questions and answers

LO in the display
  •  Make sure the ‘air’ switch is on.
  •  Make sure the mix pump is working properly and disassemble and clean the mix pump if necessary.
  •  Attach a smaller nozzle and evaluate the results after you have drawn 20 to 25 ice creams/15 to 20 milkshakes.
  •  Be aware that you will see results from these adjustments only after you have drawn 20 to 25 ice creams/15 to 20 milkshakes.
Pump bubbling in upper reservoir
  • This means the mix pump has been improperly mounted. Remove and clean the mix pump and replace it correctly. Replace all O-rings on the mix pump.
Milkshakes 'plop' out of the machine
  • Make sure the ‘air’ switch is on.
  • Make sure the mix pump is working properly and disassemble and clean the mix pump if necessary.
  • Attach a smaller nozzle and evaluate the results after you have drawn 20 to 25 ice creams/15 to 20 milkshakes.
  • Be aware that you will see results from these adjustments only after you have drawn 20 to 25 ice creams/15 to 20 milkshakes.
  • Make sure there is enough syrup in the syrup containers.
No soft-serve/no shake
  • Make sure the ‘air’ switch is on.
  • Check whether the machine is due for cleaning.
  • Make sure the mix pump is working properly and disassemble and clean the mix pump if necessary.
Soft-serve sprays out of the nozzle
  • Make sure the machine is set on ‘run’ and that the ‘air’ switch is on.
  • If the display reads ‘LO’: see above.
  • Use the pre-start button after machine stops. Press the button and hold it for at least two seconds, until numbers appear in the left-hand display. (White button at the bottom right of the control panel.)
The soft-serve is too runny
  • Make sure the mix pump is working properly and disassemble and clean the mix pump if necessary.
  • Check the nozzle and clean if necessary.

Milkshake is too thick
  • Make sure that the ‘Huzzle’ function is deactivated.
  • Check the shake water supply valve (turn to left for more water, right for less).
  • Make sure there is enough syrup in the syrup containers.
Milkshake is too thin or inconsistent
  • Make sure the ‘air’ switch is on.
  • Check the shake water supply valve (turn to left for more water, right for less).

'Air' lamp is blinking
  • Make sure the mix pump is working properly and disassemble and clean the mix pump if necessary.
  • The cylinder is not full enough and not under pressure. Turn on the mix pump.
None of the lights on the machine are working
  • Check whether the ‘Emergency Stop’ button has been pressed. Reset the emergency stop and restart the machine.
  • Make sure there are no problems with your electricity supply (check the fuses in your fuse box and make sure the machine is plugged in)
'Replenish mix' light won't go on/stays on continuously
  • Clean and descale the upper reservoir (paying extra attention to the silver-coloured cap next to the mix pump).
  • Level pin in upper reservoir is missing (for older machines).
